The time has arrived..sugarplums, candy canes, eggnog and brandy, and Bing Crosby Christmas music. With all the family dinners, brunches, and Church services, there has been a lot of time to reflect and be thankful. I would like to share some things that I most thankful for this year.
1.)Ireland. And traveling. There a lot of times that I've been disappointed that I didn't go away to a four year University and experience "college life"...believing in the lie that I haven't "experienced life" because I didn't go. But. I have had many opportunities to travel, see the world, and learn the most about who I want to be, what I like, what I want to do, and that has been completely satisfying.
2.)Mary and Elizabeth's. I have this belief that the Lord has blessed me with friends that have been "Elizabeth's" to me. The friend that I visit/hang with to rejoice, to cry, to share great news. They intern have been Elizabeth's, being my companion, experiencing grace...grace as simple as laughing, playing games, sharing a beverage, drinking coffee, sharing a phone call, and encouraging me.
3.)Living with my brother. Besides my father, Johnny is the one man I look to for guidance, motivation, and lastly validation. He makes me proud to be the woman I am and always reminding me that I am a quality lady.
Merry Christmas.
